Although we’re neither farmers nor festival organisers, we know our way around everything about the festival. That’s because we’ve attended every single event for the last ten years. Why Do We Like the Festival So Much
The truth is that we both come from families of farmers. So, attending festivals like the Royal County of Berkshire Show is something that has always excited us. Additionally, considering that we’ve spent a great deal of our childhood on our grandparents’ farm, it’s fair to say that we really like the farming life.
We never buy eggs, vegetables, or dairy products at the market because we know that what’s sold there is not real. The products on our farms are real. That’s why at such events we have the opportunity to buy fruits, vegetables, and other products that are actually organic and not just labelled as such.
Apart from the high-quality food you’ll find there, you’ll, of course, also have the opportunity to chat with the local farmers and ask them anything you want about the goods they sell. This way, you will get to know more about their occupation, and you’ll realise that good food doesn’t always have to be super expensive.
Another thing we love about this fair is the fact that it’s huge. There were many instances when we couldn’t see everything in just one day. Luckily, the fair always takes place on Saturday and Sunday, which allows us and everybody else to spend as much time as we need at each stand. And we are quick to tell you that every stall will seem super fascinating to you! Agricultural fairs like this one are much admired, and we and many other people are always excited to learn the dates of the next fair!
