RESCHEDULED: Society Annual General Meeting

 

With the ongoing uncertainty and concern regarding the spread of ‘COVID-19, Coronavirus’ we understand many people are anxious as to how they might limit the risk to their family, friends and colleagues – particularly those who are most vulnerable. The Society is committed to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our members, stakeholders, volunteers and staff – your safety is our priority.  

That in mind, and with respect to the latest guidance set out by Government; the Society Leadership Team and Board have taken the decision to re-schedule our Annual General Meeting (AGM, originally scheduled for next Tuesday 17th March 2020) to Wednesday 10th June 2020.

This rescheduled date will allow us to comply with our requirements under governance while putting the safety and well being of all involved first.

Agenda, minutes from the previous AGM and Accounts will be made available via the Society website (below) and can be emailed on request. If you have any questions or queries in relation to this matter or the AGM, please email (office@newburyshowground.co.uk) or send them via post. Queries will be responded to within 5-working days.

We will continue to monitor the latest developments and respond accordingly.
