Flower arrangement society are bringing a little ‘twist and shout’ to the Flower Tent this year!

The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) is adding a bit of rock’n’roll to their displays in the Flower Tent at this year’s show.

Twist and Shout is a floral tour inspired by The Beatles, and aims to spark the imagination with a tour of flower arrangements depicting Beatles songs. Some designs have been staged by relative beginners whilst others show the exceptional creativity that can be achieved by advanced flower arrangers.

There will be 17 clubs within the society participating in the Twist & Shout floral tour, from areas such as Windsor and Bracknell to Abingdon and Wallingford and each club will represent a different Beatles song with a variety of traditional and contemporary designs.

NAFAS is a network of over 100 clubs and with over 65,000 members, all with a shared passion for creative floral design. The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Area (BB&O) is one of 21 areas of NAFAS and has 50 clubs.

If you’re a big Beatles fan and interested in floral art, then pop down to the Flower Tent on Avenue F at The Royal County of Berkshire Show on the 17th and 18th September 2016.
